What’s an RB Code?
Q: When I try to Settle/Close Day I get and error “RBxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx”
Solution:
A RejectBatch (RBxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) means that some information that is going to the bank doesn't match what the bank has on file. (i.e. the auth code got damaged in transit) Here are instructions for managers.
In order to resolve this:
(1) Look for the transaction in the settlement report with ER for the auth/seq code in the 2 right hand columns of the report.
(2) Void this transaction by going to "System Manager" -> C-C Processing -> ICVERIFY -> Manually Void Payment
(note: Don’t forget that ICVERIFY shows the expiration date reversed ie. 0210 means 10/02)
(3) Re-Charge the transaction by hitting the "Manually Charge C-C" button on the same menu.
(4) Settle
